Nestling just outside Westerham, Shampan at the Spinning Wheel is the kind of establishment the very term “destination restaurant” was invented for - where traditional Indian cooking meets uplifting contemporary cuisine, stylish cocktails sit alongside fine wines and spirits, and elevated surroundings pair seamlessly with warm, courteous service.

More than just a restaurant, guests can while away the hours over beautifully crafted cocktails in our relaxing lounge before enjoying refined Indian cooking and interiors that bring a genuine “wow” factor. Dining is spread across luxurious and airy rooms: the Caraway Room and Tamarind Room offer bright, vivacious surroundings with Italian-designed furnishings and lattice screens that provide a touch of privacy, creating a sophisticated and welcoming atmosphere throughout the restaurant. Our striking bar serves everything from cooling beers and zingy cocktails to premium wines and spirits.

The Saffron Room is our dedicated private function space, seating up to 70 guests, complete with its own bar and outdoor area. We are also one of the few licensed venues in the Bromley borough for civil ceremonies, hosting weddings, receptions, birthdays, corporate events and other special occasions.

We offer a beautiful outdoor al fresco area in the summer, an amazing all-year-round Sunday buffet (£21 adults, £15 under 10s), and we cater for all dietary requirements including vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free and halal.
